Or I am sure I am not the only one that has set up the juicer and pulled out every kind of fruit and vegetable that was in my kitchen and sent some of all of them through the juicer at the same time, ending up with this orange/green colored, somewhat distasteful concoction, but telling yourself that it is good for you, you gulp down a glass full anyways but don't bother to take another glass of it.
But how about carrot apple ginger juice? Now that sounds more lively or how about carrot orange peach or maybe even mango! Or if it is blackberry season... blackberries beets and lime or lemon is pretty amazingly good! All fresh not additives!
After watching Fat, Sick and Neraly Dead. (great movie to check out on the life changing benefits of juicing! http://shop.rebootwithjoe.com/collections/movies) I had new resolve to do juicing.
But knowing that I could not just do carrot juice! And knowing that I would soon not be able to stomach the putting a little bit of everything into the same juice.
One way I have found to get a lot of different fruits and vegetables in (which of course is one of the main reasons you would be wanting to juice in the first place) is to sort your fruits and veggies out by color!
And being that I did only juice/very light (one meal a day) simple whole foods for 15 days, I would say it worked pretty good! (the 10 lbs lost at the end of the 15 days was pretty good too :)
